WELCOME TO YSGOL BECA

The school was opened in September, 1972. It was built as an area school in the village of Efailwen. The village is in Carmarthenshire and stands approximately a mile and a half from the Cleddau river which is on the border between Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

Ysgol Beca is a primary school with 76 pupils between the ages of 4 and 11 years old who come from areas such as Llanglydwen,Login, Glandy Cross and Llangolman. Welsh is the main language of the school. The children are taught by Mr. Meredith Phillips (Headmaster), Mrs Helen Thomas, Miss Catrin James, Mrs Mererid Francis and Mrs Elfrys Blunt.

In this website you can discover information about many aspects of the school. Use the buttons on the left of each page to go to the different sections, and then use the bar at the top of each page to go through the section. If at any time you would like to return to the very first page, click on the gate in the top left corner of the page. We hope that you will enjoy your visit to our school website!
