The elevated position of the school gives stunning views as far as the Black Mountains to the north, Burry Port, Tenby and Caldey Island to the west and the beautiful Gower Peninsular to the east.

Our school is housed in two separate buildings. Our new nursery, acquired in February 2004, is a self-contained building, specially adapted to the needs of Early Years pupils. It contains a large teaching area, an additional room that is also used for dining purposes, toilets and a kitchen. The adjoining playground has a safety rubberized play surface and is enclosed by fencing. The nursery building is surrounded by ample grassed areas. The main school building, which is approximately 150 metres from the nursery is of single storey construction, also in its own grounds. It is situated on the top of Bigyn Hill, the highest point in Llanelli and the surrounding area. The school commands panoramic views over the town of Llanelli, the Burry Inlet and the Gower.
The school has ten enclosed classrooms, a study library, a music room and a computer room. There is a separate school hall, which is used for collective worship, P.E. lessons as well as for dining purposes during mid-day breaks.
There are two playgrounds on the premises as well as a playing field. The playground used  by Foundation Phase pupils is an enclosed and fenced area consisting of tarmac and grass.
Both the main school building, nursery unit and the adjoining school grounds are totally enclosed by a secure palisade perimeter fence. The premises may be accessed through a number of gates, which are locked at set times throughout the school day.
