Y Mwydŷ Daeth Mr Trevor Roach o Gerddi Botaneg Genedlaethol Cymru i siarad a ni am gompostio gyda'n mwydy newydd. Eglurodd i ni sut i ofalu am ein mwydod newydd, gan sicrhau eu bod yn cael digon o fwyd a chysgod.
Dyma gerdd a ysgrifennwyd gan ddisgyblion blwyddyn 3 a 4. |
The Wormery Mr Trevor Roach from the Botanical Gardens of Wales came to talk to us about composting with our new worms. He explained the importance of looking after the worms ensuring that they had enough food and shelter.
This is a poem written by year 3 and 4 pupils. |
Waw! My Wormery’s a Winner!
From apples to banana skins,
From grapes to orange peel,
I keep used tea bags every day
Straight after every meal.
We must be careful all the time,
The compost does not smell,
On sunny days it must have shade,
And should be treated well.
In winter weather I must go,
To take it to the shed,
Because the compost should be kept,
Before I go to bed.
I take my marigolds as well,
When I can fill the bag,
We may have our certificates
And gain our Eco-flag.
I’d love to take a picture soon
Of butterflies that eat
My marigolds on sunny days –
Now that would be a treat!
