Football!

Football is a great sport and is played a lot in our school. We are taken to lots of tournaments by our excellent sport teacher Mr. Davies. Gareth Richards, Lewis Jones and Gwyn Jones play for the county of Ceredigion but Gareth also plays for Cardiff city football team.

Rugby!

We also do a lot of rugby in school. We have a after school sports club in school which we have a big chance to play all the different sports. In rugby we also have some good players, we have a lot of players which play for the school, but there is two players William Jones and Rhydian Evans who plays for the county team Ceredigion.

Canoeing

In our school we don’t do canoeing but there is a canoe club in the village next to us, Pontwelly. Some people go to the local swimming pool where you can learn how to canoe. There is a brilliant coach who coaches them called Gareth Bryant, but he is not always there because he is the manager of the club and is busy a lot of the time. There is also William Jones who paddles on the river and he canoes for Wales. On Saturday 31st of March William competed in a division two slalom race in Matlock and he didn’t do very well but the following day there was the British championships on the same river and he was the first J’11 and the youngest boy.
