 Being Bullied

One early summers day, Tim who was seven years old was once again complaining about being bullied at school and that he didn’t want to go to school ever again.

“O mum it’s always the same, tell a teacher. Don’t you see if I tell a teacher, Mark the boy who bullies me will do something bad to me,”

“Now then Tim it’s time for school,” sighed mum.

Tim left the house after a kiss from his mum. The school was small and had about nine tee pupils. Before going round the first corner, he looked back and started crying.

Just as Tim was reaching the school gate he came to a holt. He wiped his eyes first and then looked around the playground to check where Mark was. Unfortunately he was walking towards him.

“Hey you! What you looking at?” shouted Mark.

“Nothing” answered Tim.

He carried on walking up to the doors looking at the floor. He had no friends so he didn’t go and say hello to anybody.

Three hours later after the morning bell, all the classes were walking down to dinner.

Tim was just washing his hands before going down to the hall when Mark came in and crabbed him by the arm.

“Right then Tim you’re coming with me. If you don’t do what I say I’ll punch you. Just follow me,” he sniggered slyly. While holding on to Tim’s arm Mark dragged him out of the school doors. He took him round the back of a tree where there was a bike shed.

“You say a word and you’ll regret it,” said Mark. Mark jumped on to the bike-shed roof and pulled Tim up with him. When they were over the other side of the shed they went through a hedge. Now they were behind a shop that sold newspapers, cigarettes sweets and a lot more.

“Now then go in to the shop and steel a packet of cigarettes. I’ll ask the lady the price of something and you steel the cigarettes,” whispered Mark so that the sop keeper could not hear.

“I could definitely n…”

“Just shut up and do what I say,” Mark told him.

“It’s against the law,” shouted Tim. The shop keeper must of heard as for Mark was gone in a second and Tim was standing there crying not noticing the shop keeper come out. She was an old lady. She had a walking stick in her hand.

“What are you doing hear at school time and what did you say that was against the law,” said the old lady. Still crying Tim told her about Mark and what he had been trying to make him do.

The old lady took Tim back to school and said what had happened. Tim’s parents had to come in that day and so did Mark’s parents and the police. It was found out that really Mark was a nice boy but somebody from secondary school had been bullying him into doing these things and because he didn’t want to, he was making Tim do the things. Mark told them who the boy was and the police said that he been in trouble with us before. Mark and Tim were friends from then on. Mark came to play with Tim and Tim went to play with Mark. Also Tim’s parents went to have a cup of tea and something to eat each Sunday morning while Mark and Tim played with each other.

Cneifio

Fel rheol cneifir y defaid unwaith y flwyddyn, ar ddechrau’r haf. Gwelleifiau llaw a ddefnyddid gynt. Roedd y gwellau mwyaf cyntefig yn debyg i sisyrnau mawr, ond yn ystod y ddeunawfed ganrif fe’u disodlwyd gan welleifiau mwy effeithol. Gallai’r cneifwyr mwyaf medrus gneifio dafad mewn cyn lleied â  dwy funud, ond rhwng pum a deng munud y ddafad oedd yr amser mwyaf cyffredin. Dyfeisiwyd gwellau mecanyddol ar ddiwedd y bedwaredd ganrif ar bymtheg ond ni ddefnyddiwydd y rhain mewn llawer o fannau yng Nghymru tan y 1950au.
