Morfa Eco Logo: We Care! We Share!
Morfa Mission Statement:
We will improve and maintain the
school grounds so as to ensure enjoyment of our environment by all.
Our School Pond:
This term we renewed our pond liner and filled the pond. We were given
some pond-weed and plant which were added to the pond.
The School Quad:
Later in the term five trees were planted in out tyre planters. These
conifer trees will eventually be planted in the school grounds.
Councillor Ken Rees and Mrs. Carole Rees donated the trees and pond-weed
to the school.
The school council requested that some flowers also be planted in the
quad. As a result of this request daffodil bulbs were planted near the pond
area and in the tyre planters surrounding the conifer trees. Children from J4
planted the bulbs on the first of October.
