Morfa Junior School / Ysgol Iau y Morfa
Our Pupil School Council elections are held each September. Two
pupils from each class are elected to the School Council. The role of the
council is to provide two way communication between School Management, Governors,
Staff and Pupils. Issues are raised at regular meetings and discussed. These
issues are taken to the school management and where suitable action taken.
Where action is not possible feedback is given to the council so as to inform
the pupils of the school.
Issues such as the school environment,
cleanliness, wet playtimes and looking after the quad area have already been
raised since this September and many positive outcomes have been seen in the
school.
The school Eco-committee are comprised of
the school pupil council plus staff members.
