The night lights up with colourful patterns as the fireworks shoot up into the sky like rockets. The children are excited while they hear the banging of rockets, the splitter splatter of the bonfire and the frying of sausage and chips. Cats and dogs are afraid of the noise as they watch them from the front gate. The food smells great as they get nearer and nearer to the sausages and chips. The crowd cheers as the men chuck Guy Fawlkes onto the bonfire and see him burn away. Children play with their sparklers as its nearly time to go. As its near the end, the men decide to light the biggest firework ever. And with a very large BANG!, the night ends. By: Ffion
Fireworks zooming into the misty sky, I see catherine wheeks flashing, red, orange and yellow flames, everyone screaming and screeching, who knowsw where everyone is?, "oh help" people shout, rockets fly in round circles and kids run about. Night flies by, I see glittering flashes, Guy Fawlkes is burning, how do they know that all this happened to him? By: Carys
The night was very dark, we all stood around the flaming bonfire, we all watched Guy Fawlkes burning, he was very fat and enormous, all of us went "ooh!" when all of the fireworks went off. I could smell all the delicious food up my nose then I was really hungry and my belly was rumbling. And then we had scrumptious food and then we finished and went to bed. By: Eliot
Twinkling fireworks fill the night sky, As I watch them go up high, Guy Fawlkes is burning on the fire, As the rockets get higher and higher,
I can smell the boiling hot dogs in the van, They are sizzling in the frying pan, The sky looks like Gold, And I am very very cold,
The sky is so bright, The field doesnt need a light, If you look into the sky, You will see colourful fireworks fly by By: Amy |
