Richmond Times, Volume 2, Issue 1:

 NATIONAL CHARITY AWARDS SCHOOL A CERTIFICATE OF DISTINCTION

It has been a good year for Richmond Park. This is the third major award the school has collected during the year.

The charity EDUCATION EXTRA awarded a certificate of distinction to the school for "Its outstanding scheme of afterschool activities, and commitment to the enrichment of the educational experience of young people."

The school also received a cricket award to the value of £150 from the Brian Johnston Memorial Trust and an art award to the value of £150 from Staedtler UK Ltd.
 
 

 THE WILD SIDE OF

No, we are not talking about any pupil or staff member but the brilliant artwork outside. A joint effort by local artist . . . and parent Mr Kevin Elvy, the pupils and the staff have produced this amazing sculpture. It brings the corridor alive. Rumour has it that some of the parents have had their hair licked by the long tongue of our friendly giraffe!!!!!!!

 TOP MARKS FOR 
RICHMOND PARK SCHOOL




Richmond Park has already been awarded the BASIC SKILLS AGENCY Quality Mark Award.  Our school was one of the first in the county to receive this important quality mark.

The Basic Skills Agency only gives the Quality Mark to schools that meet the ten elements - the three Local Education Inspectors were very complimentary towards the efforts of the school in raising standards and helping all the pupils to reach their full potential. this is good news for the school.
