Trap School sees itself as part of the local community.
Parents are considered as partners in education. Every opportunity
for learning in the community is used and the school contributes to the
locality in many ways.
The children gain the best of both worlds as their education
inside and outside the school compliment one another in fact because the
school is small it is as a family unit. Each child is an individual
and as teachers we are responsible for his or her development. We try and
make this learning environment a happy one. One of our aims is to make
sure that the children adapt themselves to live in their home community.
We try to encourage moral, emosional and physical development in our pupils
as well as understanding and learning. We encourage children to be
caring towards others. Communications skills are deemed important
and each child is encouraged to express his or her opinion.
I hope that this booklet will be of help to you and if
you will require further information it will be a pleasure to meet you.
