Trap Primary School is situated on the old road leading from Llandybie to Trap.  It is about 4 miles from Llandeilo and Llandybie.  In the village we have a public house.  A little further away Llwynyronnen Chapel and Llandyfan Church are located.  In the area we have:  Trap Craft Centre, a water bottling factory, Brecon Carreg, Butterflies Candle Centre, Castle Farm Rare Breeds, Hanson Quarry and the most spectacular is of course Carreg Cennen Castle.
